Frequently Asked Questions (and some that aren't)

Q: Do I have to register an account to buy from Nevada Dry Goods? A: No. You can buy without registering. But if you do register, your shipping information will be saved so you won't have to enter it every time. You'll also be able to view your previous orders and the status of your current order, and you'll also be able to create and share wish lists.

Q: Does Nevada Dry Goods keep my credit card information in its files? A: No! We never keep any credit card information in our files, it's all kept by our credit card processing company. And as soon as we ship your product and charge your credit card, your information there is deleted. This applies whether or not you register an account.

Q: How do I know my financial information is safe with NVDG? A: Our website store was constructed and is operated using the latest anti-hacker and security methods. Our credit card processing company is among the most secure in the world. Our site is scanned on a regular basis to ensure it is up to industry standards.

Q: What if I receive my order and I just don't like it? A: If you return it, we'll give you a refund. See our Store Policies page for more information.

Q: Does Nevada Dry Goods sell or exchange my customer information with anyone? A: Absolutely Not! See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Q: Why did you two decide to start this business at your age? A: With a mad quilting habit, we found that we were chasing all over the place trying to find the right fabrics for Cindy's projects. And when she got a kit, she found that often they were unsatisfactory, containing incomplete or confusing instructions, not enough or low quality fabrics, etc. A lot of the kits she bought were packaged quite attractively, but by the time you got them the fabrics were soiled or the patterns torn or crumpled. We thought we could do it better, by offering top quality fabrics in weatherproof and handling-proof packaging, with complete and understandable instructions. We also knew that we could offer better customer service than we were getting from most places.

Q: Where is your store located? A: We're an all online operation, we don't have a quilt shop or any store. Our total attention is focused on selling quality fabrics, supplies and kits, and delivering them direct to you, either via the internet, or at the many quilt shows we attend, mostly in the west.

Q: What if I have a question about one of the projects I purchased from Nevada Dry Goods? A: Just drop us a note at service@nevadadrygoods.com. We promise you we'll respond quickly. Please include your phone number in case we can't understand the issue, or we need to talk to you to adequately resolve it. Q: Can you create a custom quilt kit just for me? A: Unfortunately, we're not staffed to do this. But do read the next answer.

Q: Do you customize your listed kits? A: Under some circumstances we can modify our kits to meet your needs. We can't change the patterns, or design quilts on an individual basis, but we can often substitute one fabric for another, or one set of fabrics into a different pattern or design. If you see a pattern you like and we don't have a kit for it, or you see a pattern and you'd like it in another kit's fabrics, just ask! We may be able to accomodate you. Many things are possible.
